SOMNOLENT band was founded by Konstatntin and Alexey in autumn of 2006 in Odessa. Later the band joined Dmitriy (bass), Nikolay (guitars), Yuriy (drums)
First official rehearsal took place in the 1st of December 2006 in Odessa.
In the 28th of May 2008 the recording of the debut album is finished. It is named `Monochromes Philosophy`. The band concluded a contract with Russian label `Solitude Prod.`.
