“I was at Josh’s blind auditions and remember it very well. Just to give you an idea, there were 6 of us supporters in the little room watching him on the big screen. Four cameras on us. My mom, Sherry, papa Murley and myself in the front row. Family supporters, Eva, Gary and Terry McCormick in the back. As soon as Josh Murley entered stage right, we all lost it screaming, “Go Murley go. You got this. He’s gonna kill it, ya’ll. Murleeeeeeeey!”. I saw this shitty little grin on his face, as he approached center stage. He told me he felt his heart pounding, but was able to take a deep breath and deliver. As soon as he started singing, I said, “He sounds AMAZING...”
