Inspired by artists such as Thrice, the Deftones, Norma Jean and In Flames, Somastate has experienced a quick rise to becoming one of the most talked about, freshly-unique rock bands in independent music. With their heavy guitar-driven sound, massive drums and catchy choruses, Somastate delivers a passionate product that both entertains and inspires.
In just over 2 years, Somastate has played Taste of Chaos, Vans Warped Tour, Junofest and shared the stage with artists such as Thursday, Bring Me the Horizon, Secret and Whisper and Cancer Bats.
Whether it is the ethereal guitar playing reminiscent of the Deftones or the memorable choruses found in A Perfect Circle, it's not hard to see that the music extends past typical rock boundaries.
