Smokey DeVille first emerged into the public eye with a fire breathing and glass torture act in the Fall of 2002. Using that to get his name out, he began work on his debut EP, Precursor, in the fall of 2004. After numerous setbacks, the four song EP was finally released on the internet one year later, with a compact disk version of the album shortly thereafter.
