When Smile got out of the imagination of Denis, it got naturally in the line of the British classic and rough rock and roll. From the band's first year onwards, the scene has been the place where the energy of the band could explode. Five years and several line-up changes later, the band is closer than ever to what it aims at : controlled songs valorised by a singer with a powerful and recognizable lead singer, roaring guitars and a sober and efficient rhythm section.

 Smile, that's around thirty songs, a five tracks EP in 2005, various articles published in Rock'n'Folk (Paris), Le Soir (Brussels), Presto (Lille) and others. Smile's "Cafe on the Left Bank" LP is released during the month of February 2008. For five years, Smile has travelled mostly around the North of France, playing more than 70 gigs, from the most humble "cafe-concerts" to more prestigious places. Still, Smile never forgot to travel : Brussels (Belgium), Verviers (Belgium), Bordeaux (France), Rouen (France)...
