More than half a decade ago the band once called “Bleeka”, was ignited. The Carolina band influenced by greats such as Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica and Alice in Chains, whose music explores a vast alternative spectrum blending clever lyrics, potent rock, and southern charm that forms a distinct and compelling sound, was deemed punk/alternative rock . For several years the band played crowds ranging well into the thousands up and down the east coast and gained loads of attention from fans, then after taking a short exodus to pursue individual projects, the band reunited in early 2009 under the name Smack Lily.  The new name randomly came to lead vocalist Chad Gerrald as he was driving one day just before the reunion. Once presented it sounded good to the group as a whole-so it stuck. Although the name has changed the fans have not. Die hard “Bleeka” fans have continuously supported the transition as the band breathes life back into the southeast region's music scene and taking fans by storm with their energetic onstage performance.
