  Son Of Shinobi - KNEE DEEP/SLY DOG/BETWEEN ECHOES/THE RAT RACE ONE of Cheshire most-exciting rock bands, Son of Shinobi make their long-awaited return to The Box on Fri October 5. The five-piece have been working hard in the Dojo to hone their sound andcreate a powerful album, packed full of original songs for an eager following. Track ‘Memory Box’ recently received airplay as part of the BBC Introducing initiative to great reviews. ... Having previously played in bands with bassist Rudi Heinemann and guitarist Ol Hughes, new recruit on drums Ste Hadzik ensured the chemistry was there immediately. With Rick Mason (formerly of Katatoy) also on guitars and frontman Paul Senior, the band are moresolid than ever, throwing up sounds influenced by Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age, Alice In Chains & Pearl Jam & Rage Against The Machine amongst others. Support comes from the brilliant Knee Deep, Between Echoes plus debuts for Sly Dog and The Rat Race Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets are £5.
