Q: Who did you listen to growing up???

A: Wait, Ms. Holly...did you ask me this as "Anonymous"? 'Cause I just answered that exact question...starting with "hot jazz" and blues of the 30's/40's, then Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Buddy Holly. later, Ray Charles, Mahalia Jackson, Etta James, Beatles, Stones, James Brown, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett, Bob Dylan...any time I make one of these lists I remember more and forget to mention some! And I'm STILL listening...and how could I have left out Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, and songwriting team of Holland/Dozier/Holland...
