SLED was started in 2001 by Lisa and Dan Himan, currently married for 17 years. After years of playing guitar, and turning down offers of going professional, Dan noticed Lisa singing certain songs. So in secret Dan learned these cover songs, and started to play them for Lisa. Next thing you know they started SLED. Their 16 year old son plays bass for them at their all ages shows. Their influences range from Pink Floyd, STP, Alice in Chains, to Pat Benatar, Jewel and No Doubt.
