“The dueling guitar flairs in "No Promised Land" are also a nice touch. As are the bright blasts of overdrive that highlight the downbeats in the album's mid-tempo closer, "Welcome to Earth." The song mixes in a circus breakdown and some "bop shoo-wops" on the backing vocals that fade into a mess of blues notes--it's a delightfully odd way to end a rock record.”

“Picked up the new Skittish Itz album, Had A Food Baby!, from the 1332 Records website. Listened to it twice and really enjoyed it! It's kind of a melodic pop punk with heavy metal guitar and a little ska thrown in. The vocals are great because they are sung, not screamed, and I could understand the clever lyrics. They kind of remind me of Yer Mom in this regard. I definitely need to see these guys live!”
