An emcee from Philly suburbs, SKIP-DAWG embarked upon an improbable and at times dangerous journey to hip-hop brilliance. There were no rappers battling on the corners of Haverford, PA, only a kid with a dream of growing up to be a professional stuntman, and a rapper. A top notch college athlete who graduated from Princeton at age 20, Skip's academic and athletic achievements only scratch the surface of this remarkable individual's incredible and inspirational life story.

In 2006, SKIP-DAWG underwent intensive surgeries to repair both of his lungs which had collapsed . Eight weeks and multiple blood transfusions later, SKIP-DAWG emerged from the hospital stoically unphased in his pursuit of his true love, rapping. SKIP does not shy away from his former problems. Instead, he draws inspiration from his adversity and depicts a vivid and painfully honest picture of his life “To get this far, you've seen me fall, seen me crawl just to stand up tall, I put blood sweat and tears in every sixteen bars to match the blood sweat and tears of my 16 scars”. In addition to extremely catchy pop-rap love ballads like “Times in My Life” and urban anthems such as “Come Along”, Skip exhibits exceptional versatility on the recent heart-wrenching track “Make a Miracle Happen”, produced by Beatgods (Fifty Cent, Peedi Crakk, Freeway, Mike Jones) of Interscope Records.

With an acting resume that speaks for itself, over 40 feature films and TV appearances, it comes as no surprise that Skip-Dawg's stage performance is on point. Skip's normally calm and collected demeanor literally transforms in front of your eyes and turns any crowd of skeptics into a congregation of believers.
