“SJ’s first fully-produced album “Coffee” features his first hit single, “I Like You.” After only a few weeks, “I Like You” reached the top 10 on the FMQB A/C charts. It also reached the top 20 on Sirius/XM’s “Coffeehouse” channel charts. The song was nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award, and was a finalist in an international songwriting competition. The Spanish translation of the song won the Nashville International Songwriting Competition in the Latin Category.
“Coffee” was mixed by Grammy Award Winning engineer Bob Rosa (Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Christina Aguilera,more), and mastered by Ryan Smith from Sterling Sound(Jason Mraz). The album was released May 31, 2011 at all major digital retailers such as iTunes, Amazon, and many others.
SJ performed on Sirius/XM’s “Coffee House” channel in May, and held an album pre-release party in New York City at the famous SoHo House. He then returned to Miami to hold an album pre-release”
