Bio
Siva Addiction is an American hard rock band out of Oklahoma City. Their recently released debut album Artifice has gained the band tremendous success on internet radio as well as helping to increase their already expansive fan base. Siva's already successful three-song demo, released February 2008, has received international radio airplay and landed the band several endorsement deals.
About
Siva (pronounced see-vah) ORIGIN from Sanskrit literally ‘the auspicious one.’ Emerging from the heart of Oklahoma City, the fearsome five of Siva Addiction exploded onto the rock scene in 2008 with their debut demo.
Pounding drums and driving bass lines lay the foundation for intricately infectious guitar riffs. Complemented by wickedly dark lyrics, the resonating tones bond with Siva fans, addicting them from the first moment. Female-fronted hard rock with a metal edge! If you're looking for heavy guitars with melodic vocals Siva's got what you crave.
Siva draws influence from rock and metal greats such as Metallica, Black Label Society and Led Zeppelin, but also the dynamics of early 90s alternative grunge like Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. The diverse backgrounds of its members make Siva's sound definitely something to remember.
