Zakir Hussain is one of India’s most renowned cultural ambassadors and a chief architect of the world music movement by way of his historic collaborations, which include The Diga Rhythm Band, Masters of Percussion, George Harrison, Yo-Yo Ma, Joe Henderson, Van Morrison, Béla Fleck, Billy Cobham, Rennie Harris, and his compositions for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
