Simon Lawrence is a young British Jazz singer who has been on the London Jazz scene for about a decade. He has performed at venues such as 100 Club, 606 Club, Big Chill, Charlie Wright's, Spice of life and many others.
The Simon Lawrence Band's debut album, 'Streets and Bars' is being released on 5th August 2009 at a launch party @ The Vortex Jazz Bar in Dalston.
As well as composing and singing his own jazz songs, Simon has been writing songs with with the 'Queen of Beat poetry' Fran Landesman. Fran who ran the famous Crystal Palace in St.Louis in the 60's, wrote lyrics for artists such as Ella Fitzgerald.
