silva duss born shane Vernon in Montego bay , Jamaica grew up listening to all kinds of music. I remember sneeking out of the house to go to reggae shows. I fell in love with reggae music at a very young age listening to artist such as Papa San , Admiral Bailey , Lt. Stitchie just to name a few.

Upon residing to the United States Of America in nineteen ninty two ( 1992 ) i was surrounded by fellow friends and family who were in the game trying to make it in the industry. While at salem State college i took chances in many different events and it was at this moment in time i realised what i loved best and that was music.

Not until about nineteen ninty six ( 1996 ) before i started taken it to another level , i realized the joy and passion i felt when ever i was doing the music. Received my name from friends who were constantly through what we call ( gimicks ) jamaican style. throughout the years Silva Duss has graced the stage with artist such as Beenie Man , Ghost , Tonto metro & Devonte , Lexus , Zebra just to name a few.

News quickly began spreading up and down the east coast which led to the collaboration " big talker " featuring Louie Rankin and the single " whateva ' which was released on the " wild cubby label " in two thousand and three ( 2003 ).

Since then Silva Duss has been performing within the boston Mass. area at local clubs , Vermont , miami , Providence , Chicago as well as new york alongside artist such as Prento Kidd , lady Lee , Don Yute , ny-jah  , D arryval  just to name a few.

Currently in the studios doing what he does best Silva duss released a few hot new singles DA BLOCK featuring J-Gomz , B.O.G. bitches ova guns, fight an fuss and Big Spliff which have been getting great reviews from the public. Upon joining the UPRIGHT BASEMENT MUSIC ( ubm ) family in february of two thousand eight ( 2008 ) i was linked with a few friends which created the group GARRISUN FAMALLY.

Flygurlsky from your morning 102.9fm says GOOD DAY is one of the best she's heard in along time. Dj Lady Lee from theLion's Den 105.3fm says " dis 1 is definately a hit ". Fadda P also of 105.3 fm says " its crazy " u going far places to do big things.In april of two thousand eight ( 2008 ) at the boston music awards Silva Duss was presented with the best new artist award.with a release date coming for late 2008- early 2009 keep an eye an ears open for the album entitled GOOD DAY.
