A quartet that aspires to craft soundtracks of life with melodic tunes, Silent Scenery, hailed from Malaysia, burst into the local independent music scene with their first single, Tale of a Wooden Door in 2007. The tune that consists of one soothing melody to another is what Silent Scenery about.

"Always keen to push the depths of their musical limits, Silent Scenery’s second song on the night, the hard-hitting From Here to Eternity, featured a dominant drum sequence before being usurped by an almost punk-ish assault of raging guitars spraying high pitched wails into the night. What followed was the dramatic climax as guitarist/vocalist Kit collapsed to his knees by the end of the song, consumed by the intensity of the performance. Shades of a younger Henry Rollins, no?"
