Founded in 2004 by Ben Maitland-Lewis, Sidehatch Entertainment began as a dream to help great musicians with above average talent and commercial potential. The company developed during Bens four years at Berklee College of Music, where he tirelessly perfected his business plan under the expert encouragement and guidance of the Berklee business Faculty.

In todays entertainment industry, artists are faced with ever-increasing challenges on how to develop their sound, find an image, market themselves correctly, build a loyal following and get discovered. Sidehatch Entertainment Group provides musicians with an all encompassing artist development service. Sidehatch helps artists reach the next level of presentation, performance, and organization needed to compete and succeed in today's entertainment industry. Sidehatch Entertainment group's services include, but are not limited to: Artist Management, Guerilla Marketing, Promotions and Merchandising (retail, lifestyle, non-traditional), Booking and Event Production, Music Industry Consulting, Street Team Coordination and Video Production.

The company has created a tight-knit community in the New England area, which includes Sidehatch employees, volunteers and interns from universities and colleges such as Northeastern University, Harvard University, Simmons College, Boston University and Berklee College of Music. The team is dedicated to Sidehatch Entertainments mission to becoming the world leader in independent artist development by being in tune with the artists? needs and staying ahead of the constantly changing trends in the information age.

In the current year, Sidehatch Entertainment Group intends on expanding into both west coast and European markets. In the future, Sidehatch Entertainment will introduce new business models to benefit artists and will continue to work with earth friendly organizations.

The Sidehatch community is fueled by their passion for the talented artists they support. Sidehatch Entertainment Group currently represents Spiritual Rez, September Twilight, [kid:nap:kin], The Thickness, My So Called Friend, Rearview Ghost and Ryan Joy. Negotiations are currently taking place with a number of eminent groups and solo musicians with a view to them becoming members of Sidehatchs growing community.
