The gap between the raw ingenuity of today’s Electronic music world, and the thrill of a live Rock band performance has all of a sudden been reduced to a new low. Pinn Panelle is what happens when a Rock outfit pushes the limits on themselves and on their physical instruments to perform music that is not only innovative and powerful, but genuine and meaningful. With the release of their viral, live Dubstep cover video of “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites” by Skrillex, the band has voiced what they’re capable of, and hints at the massive potential their future holds.
Fresh off the road with Mute Math....
Paying it forward is what Quiet Entertainer is finest at. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Quiet Entertainer, also known as Greg Freeman, is an electronic, hip-hop, ambient music producer. From a young age, Quiet Entertainer soaked in every musical and theatrical event he was exposed to. Taking bits and pieces from it all, he constructed his music in order to showcase the monumental experiences he received. Having played with artists such as Wick-It The Instigator, Zion I Crew and Mute Math, QE strives to intrigue and inspire his audience as he takes them through the different elements that make each track unique. Whether the crowd is groovin' to his melodic, enchanting "Machismo", or gettin' hype to "I Am...", they leave empowered to want to pay their experience forward in their own creative way.
GOON started in March of 2011 after a mutual hiatus of Jake Costenaro and Josh Hearing's personal attempts at music careers became united. Joining forces to create a new focus and unique sound, GOON hit the ground running. Having a collection of old friends and fond memories was not all that was needed to start a new musical momentum, it was gonna take not just the ability to survive and thrive, but the guts and determination to self-motivate and re-stir the hornets nest of Nashville's music scene. The evolving line-up finally solidified with the joined guitar forces of Stephen Jackson and Jonny Fiction brought to light the true creative ability of the group to get the message of GOON to the public.
From opening for artists from The Misfits to Saving Abel and Saliva, GOON is making leaps and bounds in a positive direction. The live show is something you have to see to believe! from the energy of Josh, to the crazy antics of Jake and Jonny to Stephen's comedy its something you just have to experience..
Kyl Beller specialzes in bass music but, for his age, he is experienced far beyond. As a multi-instrumental-controllerist turned turntablist with a half-timed heart and an ear for the immersive, he has stepped on the Nashville scene as a true up-and-coming talent. He is currently a finalist in the Social EDM DJ Battle and has certainly caught the eye and heart of Bass1 Events. His party rock skills on the mic, beat juggling and in-time scratching skills set him apart from many other bass heavy/hip-hop DJs. He is also an audio engineer and producer. This kid is going somewhere and Bass1 Events is excited at the prospect of taking him under their wing.
In 2002 the Nashville native Tim Prince emerged on the Drum and Bass scene tagging with his cousin Chris Smotherman under the name Tomax and Xamot. When asked what got him started he simply states "It was a need to see the music I love played as no one else can". Opening for Drum and Bass legends such as Bad Company, Dieselboy, and Dj Craze the feeling of being on stage made him crave more and pushed him further into the world of electronic dance music. Picking up a weekly spot on Drum and Bass Tv Prince and Smotherman quickly spread their love of music across the world. In 2010 Prince joined Everything's Nice and helped usher in the Dubstep movement. Helped found Bass Heavy a weekly event in Nashville. Playing alongside acts such as Glitch Mob, Borgore, Nero, Caspa, 12th Planet, Skism, Downlink, Ajapai and a whole lot more he has quickly won dance floors over. Known for relentless bass, emotional vocals, and an energy that does not let go till the last record is played. He sums it up best with "no filler, play what you love, and come hard or go home."
