Gold Rush: Symphony Concert Enjoy this evening’s program featuring compositions of two composers: Symphony No. 4 by Tchaikovsky and “Gold Rush” for percussion and orchestra by Jacob Ter Veldhuis. The Symphony No. 4 reveals the main struggle of Romanticism – the struggle for freedom to be yourself, and “Gold Rush” illustrates the biggest field of battle in 20th Century: goldmines in the wild West, where every man struggled to achieve the same – to be himself and moreover to be a human. Soloists Pavel Giunter and Sergej Buranov always succeed in enchanting the audience. This time they will reveal disastrous dazzle of gold whereas the orchestra under the baton of Černušenko will charm the audience with the beauty of Tchaikovsky's remarkable Symphony.
