Hailing from Richmond with members of the No BS Brass Band, DJ Williams Projekt, The Big Payback (James Brown Tribute), and Skydog, the Root Downs bring the funk wherever they go! The band started in organ trio format and evolved into a funk-driven jazz band focused on making booty shakin groove music.
