Negative Space Gallery and Second Hand Dogs will be hosting a charity benefit for Ohio PAWS. at the Negative Space Gallery on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The venue is located on the 2nd floor of the Asian Town Center at 3820 Superior Ave in Cleveland and is handicap accessible. Free parking and entrance is off of East 38th Street.
PAWS philosophy is that kindness to animals helps build a better world for all of us. Through the generosity of other caring individuals, we can ensure that animals who come into the care of PAWS will never again be alone, hungry, sick, afraid, or in pain. Right now, emphasis is being placed on the reform of animal cruelty laws and adoption of dogs in need.
This concert will be headlined by Cleveland area favorites, Second Hand Dogs. They will be joined by three opening acts: Gary Hall, Jerry Allen, Gary Hall and Jason Meyers, accompanied by Laura Simna and Chelsea Nicole. All three of these acts have been gracing audiences around the country for years and are family friendly.
Admission: Adults: $15, Ages 13 to 20: $12, 12 and Under: Free; with proceeds going to PAWS. Donate a new pet item (food, toys, colar, leash, etc) for $2 off admission price.
The very important event will include refreshments and beverages, a raffle to benefit PAWS, resource tables, adoption opportunities, and a guest appearance by Forest and Robin Stone. Forest is the area dog who recently survived being shot three times. Dress is casual. For those unable to attend, donations will be accepted via mail to Negative Space Gallery at the address listed above.
