Roots-Rock Junk-Folk. Rusty Belle’s sublime harmonies and collective rhythm contribute to their unique style. Home-grown percussion instruments include a gas-can foot snare and a suitcase bass drum. The trio can play a room into a dancing frenzy and then soothe them back down into their chairs. They clearly enjoy themselves onstage while maintaining musical integrity. With original songs that span genres, the band’s style is simultaneously modern and reminiscent of an era gone by.
