Blow the dust off his folk and Americana tones and you find the musical equivalent of a treasured heirloom.” - The Columbia Daily Tribune\n\nErin Rae is an Americana musician based in Nashville, Tenn. She grew up in Jackson, Tenn., singing tunes with her parents by Doc Watson, Mississippi John Hurt, John Prine, Nancy Griffith, Merle Haggard, Greg Brown, Kate Wolf, and many, many more. These artists as well as those she discovered on her own (Patty Griffin, Norah Jones, Allison Krauss, Gillian Welch, Feist, Ryan Adams) have continued to inspire her since she began playing guitar and writing her own music in early 2009. \nBorn and raised in Kirkwood, Missouri to the lonesome melodies of the Stanley Brothers and the shufflin' train beat of Buck Owens, Johnny Appleseed (Andrew Hunt) has that old time American music in his blood. In the fall of 2011, Andrew made the move from Missouri to Nashville to join the acoustic swing/indie-folk band the Flea Marketeers and begin his quest for a life of music.
