THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!
Hooks4Hands is launching their first album "Ignite Me" alongside some of Perth's best local music talent.
Because we love you guys so much, EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO WALKS THROUGH THE DOOR WILL BE RECEIVING OUR ALBUM FOR FREE. This will last as long as we have albums to give, or people to give them to.
WHY!? I hear you ask, "Why would you spend so much time and money to give this away for free?"
The answer is simple;
"Fuck money, and fuck time too."
As individual musicians, we did not come into this looking to make a profit, we came to make music. As a band, we only want to melt faces, to rock, and to spread our music to as many people as we can. Combine the two, and what do you get? Free motherfucking album motherfucker. THAT'S WHAT.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
Prepare your ear pussies for the fucking of a life time from the likes of three of Perth's best, who we are lucky enough to have supporting us on this epic night;
A HAUNTING ON RAVENSWOOD
2012 a new year with a new guitarist Rob to join the band after the departure of guitarist Kyle. The boys have played a few shows around Perth including a great show at WIRED and some all ages shows at HQ. After doing more shows our line up changed again with Aaron's good friend James replacing Nate as drummer. The party lovers are now working on a demo to give out at shows and have online for everyone to hear what they have to bring to the scene.
We are five dudes ready to tear up the stage playing the music we love!
REMEMBER THE SOUTH
Remember The South started in early January, brought together by Mikey, Cenydd and Liam. Soon introduced to the project were Matt and Brock.
In early May, after a short period of being together as a band, RTS headed into the studio to record their first song."Make It Count".
The song taking off and being aired on radio, Remember The South was approached shortly after and asked to play their first show.
For their first show getting on a line up with Dream on Dreamer, InLeague and Only Hope,
Playing two more shows with a few local bands, frontman Mikey decided it was time to venture on in his life and went over east Australie to Melbourne,
A few months passed and the guys were looking for a new front man, when they stumbled upon Mark Caniglia, a fellow musician that Matt knew, who blew everyone away in his audition.
RTS is now led by Mark Caniglia. With Mark concentrating on Vox, and Cenydd now focusing on clean vocals, you will not be able to go past this band when you hear them rock.
WE RUN WITH WOLVES
We Run With Wolves only started in late November 2011 with vocalist Jeff Mifsud, a newcomer on the Perth music scene and Pauly Righini who had experience in the UK and Western Australia was the musicial force behind the band came together to start the project. The debut EP was produced by pair from the ground up mixing metal, post-hardcore with elements from electronic genres and received overwhelming positive feedback via the bandcamp.com page where the EP was originally released and also alternative radio stations The Pit FM and Anarchy On-Air and also online magazines Noise Violation, Perth Found and Sound & Found and P.R.O.T.A.S.
As the EP was only tracked by Jeff and Pauly and wanting to take the finished product to the stage it was time to recruit new members bringing on board Corey Amata - drums, Dean Thomson - guitar. With a string of successful first shows playing with local Perth bands Still Water Claims, Sensory Amusia, and national bands Beyond Terror Beyond Grace, Far West Battlefront and Pledge This.
They are set to make a lot of noise with this first release so say 'sayōnara' to your speakers with remastered EP plus bonus content being re released through RTD Records' new digital store in October and a new single set for release before the end of the year, you have been warned!!!
Prepare yourself to have your brain melted, your eyes assaulted and your ears pussies raped by the epic audio sound scape that is "Hooks4Hands". Delivering a hard hitting fusion of Metal, Post Hardcore and Drum & Bass, Hooks' stage show is where this band REALLY impresses. Creating an explosive display of lights, colour, noise and movement, you will never know where to look next when these guys hit the stage. If you've ever seen Hooks play before, you'll know you're in for a delicious epileptic treat. If you've never had the pleasure of seeing this band live, prepare your anus.
