Lydia Loveless OFFICIAL WEBSITE / MYSPACE / FACEBOOKBlessed with a commanding, blast-it-to-the-back-of-the-room voice, the 21 year-old Lydia Loveless was raised on a family farm in Coshocton, Ohio—a small weird town with nothing to do but make music. With a dad who owned a country music bar, Loveless often woke up with a house full of touring musicians scattered on couches and floors. When she got older, in the time-honored traditions of teenage rebellion, she turned her back on these roots, moved to the city (Columbus OH) and immersed herself in the punk scene, soaking up the musical and attitudinal influences of everyone from Charles Bukowski to Richard Hell to Hank III.The Riverbreaks / OFFICIAL WEBSITERyan Bailey (lead singer), Andrew Satten (keyboards), and Jesse Prentice-Dunn (guitar) met in Chapel Hill, NC where they formed a band awarded Favorite Local Act by the local newspaper. The band took a hiatus when Ryan moved for two years to the Central American jungle. After a period of prolific songwriting, the three launched The Riverbreaks in Washington D.C., integrating Neela Rajendra (violin), Kirk Anderson (drums), and Drew Ball (bass). Since their inception, the band has built a strong D.C. area fan base and toured eight states, as well as shared bills with bands like We Are Augustines, Pearl and the Beard, and Bobby Bare Jr.Grain Thief / FACEBOOK Show 8:30pm Doors 8:00pm 18+ $8/adv $8/day of show
