Diva's Working It Out in collaboration with Youth In Crisis are bringing you a night to remember in the beautiful historical Strand Theater on behalf of health & wellness in the community. According to the US centers for disease control and prevention during the past 20 years, there has been a dramatic increase in obesity in the United States and rates remain high. Obesity causes heart disease, diabetes, high blood presure and many other cormorbidities. Obesity and unhealthy eating has impacted many communities negatively. Come out to support better health in the community!

Diva's Working It Out was founded by Cashawna "Cash The Stylist", who was diagnosed with pre-diabetes and rid of the disease by changing eating habits, exercising and losing 85 pounds. She started a walk group in Franklin Park for women and decided to start a non-profit to impact women and children on a wider scale.Taking one step at a time against generational obesity and nurturing healthy families. DWIO does many things in the community!! Our next venture is to help raise money for makeovers for women transitioning out of shelters with their children. The makeovers will be provided by the Cashawna Bonita Image Consulting professionals. The goal is to get the women acclimated with healthier living & a new outlook on their professional life. So that they can share the knowledge with their children and stop generational obesity and bring awareness to the importance of image!

Youth In Crisis was founded by Anthony Robinson, who grew up in the inner city. YIC is a non-profit outreach organization that provides a free alternative to the streets for dozens of at-risk youths by providing advocacy, coaching and sports. For many years Youth In Crisis has helped with molding the minds of young people with the mission of building stronger, diverse and more resilient communities. All youth deserve dymamic futures and Youth In Crisis ministries is determined to assist the youth with seeing an uplifting future.
