Initially produced to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of MAC, the Global Fusion Festival (GFF) has expanded from a two-day event entertaining more than 5,000 people, to a week-long celebration attracting nearly 30,000 attendees. The festival holds true to its "global fusion" name by presenting its 2012 theme RHAPSODY, a perfect combination of Caribbean, Hispanic, African, African-American and Asian cultural performers for visitors and residents to experience, all on one stage.
Entering its 6th year, Global Fusion Festival & Week partners with DRWC to offer the LARGEST one-day festival in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 21st from noon-8pm at the Great Plaza, Penn's Landing.
In an effort to unite Philadelphia's dynamic cultures, GFF serves as an integral part of PECO's Summer-long Multicultural Festival Series at Penn's Landing's, Great Plaza. By loading the festival grounds from noon to 8pm with unforgettable national award-winning talent, cultural dance performances, ethnic foods, a children's pavilion, and crafts and giveaways, exemplifies how GFF makes entertaining all ages a priority...for FREE.
