The Lost Dogs are a supergroup, formed in 1991 by combining vocalists, songwriters and talented guitarists from multiple alternative rock bands. Their current lineup includes Terry Scott Taylor (Daniel Amos, the Swirling Eddies), Michael Roe (The 77s), Derri Daugherty and Steve Hindalong (The Choir).
Musically, The Lost Dogs are defined by their beautiful harmonics, guitar playing and their down-to-earth personalities that echo through their music. They tip toe their relaxed indie rock sound through every infulence - especially playing homage to key infulences in Americana, folk, to surf. They shine as brilliant singer/songwriters and storytellers.
Their CD 'Old Angel' captures the stories and magic of America's Glory Road - Route 66. This is one of our favorite projects from them yet. So many of the songs are seriously poignant, yet charmingly eccentricly funny.
Recently they have been invited to play with George Jones, Dierks Bentley and Weird Al. This concert will sell out, buy your tickets now.
Our concerts are done, Living Room Style, meaning simlar to the intimate setting of house concerts, but held in a public venue space with professional production quality - to faciliate a relaxed listening experience defined by community, friendship and artist accessiability.
Marty Shaughnessy has made his stake in music both locally and nationally as a creative and successful independent singer/songwriter and as the frontman of the progressive folk rock band, THE RAINCHILDREN.
