To participate in open critique groups, bring up to 5 pages of critique-ready work (4 copies) to share. In accordance with SCBWI critique guidelines, a colleague will read your pages aloud, giving you the opportunity to listen to your prose or verse in action - a great test of readability. Bring fiction, nonfiction, illustration, poetry, synopses, query letters, or any other children's literature work you'd like to get feedback on.
