The 3rd Annual Run Woodstock (September 9th-11th) is unlike any other event in the world. The weekend features 3 days of running, music, and camping with a theme from the Woodstock Festival of 1969.
Female rock guitarist Lemon James is very pleased to have Grammy nominated drummer Steve Muruga Booker, from Woodstock 69 join her on stage. She proclaims that Bookers musical inspiration, creativity and spiritual connectedness will bring an added energy to this special occasion, making this much more than just an event. Local bassist extraordinaire Dave Sharpe, and multi talented guitarist Joe Giese, will join Lemon and Muruga to share with you a most pleasant entertaining memorable experience.
Run Woodstock offers a multitude of trail running competitions, the 5-mile, 13.1-mile, 26.2-mile, 50k, 100k and the infamous 100-miler. The 100-mile course is 6 laps of 16.5 miles to equal the 100-mile trek.
Run Woodstock invites everyone to run, rock and frolic in the garden, to run, hike, wander, jam and dance. A chance to sweat, feel fully alive, to swim and splash, party and crash together.
Randy of Running Fit, concludes. “Join us by going to runwoodstock.com. By just paying to camp you get to join the weekend party!”
