Forth Yeer announces final show Friday March 25th @ Moe’s BBQ
After 14 years of rocking the nation, we, Denver Rock n Roll heroes FORTH YEER have decided to call it quits. Throughout the years, we have made quite a name for ourselves as one of the hardest rocking, hardest working and hardest partying bands in the state of Colorado and beyond. However, much like some of you might have banished your copy of Green Day's "Dookie" to your mom's attic, so too are we ready to box up the old days and bid them a fond farewell. We're proud of who we were and where we've been, but the time has come to focus on who we are and where we're going.
Forth Yeer/Forth Yeer Freshman has been a lot of fun. It's time though, to move on and pursue new projects. Rest assured, we're going to say goodbye in style! We will be holding a Viking Funeral for Forth Yeer and Forth Yeer Freshman on Friday March 25th at Moe’s BBQ in Englewood to pay tribute to the last 14 years. There will be eulogies delivered by local celebrities who are near and dear to our hearts. Think of it like a friars club roast, only with way more booze. There will be a short movie comprised of video from our personal tour collection, classic memorabilia on display, merch giveaways, dinner with the band and much much more. If you have any video, photos or memorabilia you would like to put on display that night, we encourage you to get in touch by emailing email@example.com. Admission will be half price to anybody who comes to the show dressed in funeral attire (Viking or otherwise...preferably Viking). We are also open to suggestions for possible roasters that night.
Finally, we would like to take a moment and thank you all for the years of boundless support. Some of you have grown up with us since the very beginning, some have joined us over the years and some of you just found us yesterday, but you are all a part of this band. This band isn't just the 6 guys who play on stage. The entire experience of going to shows, partying, telling jokes and making bad decisions would be a little bit sad if we were doing it all on our own.
Don't forget! Send all roaster suggestions and offers to display memorabillia at the Viking Funeral to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Rock n Roll!
