The Scientific Method is an electronic music experiment gone pleasantly awry. While most musicians choose to stick to the same timeworn genres that are popularly accepted, Jim Hughes of The Scientific Method refuses to be shoved in a box and sold. He is continuously breaking all the known barriers of music and passionately exploring new sonic terrains.
Ikarus Burns is the electronic project of Hunter Dasten. Shifting between trip-hop and EDM in the vein of artists like Tricky, Low Fidelity Allstars, Depeche Mode and Wolfsheim. Featuring pounding drums with droning synthesizers and passionate lyrics, Ikarus Burns attempts to make the low points in life worth dancing to.
The musical philosphy of Vi11AiN is to "use any means necessary" to acheive the end result. Musically it's an A.D.D. mix of Dubstep, IDM, noise glitches and dynamic synthesizer programming. The music can be erratic and noisey but then instantly slip into something smooth and melodic. Heavy on the bass and heavy on the EFX, Vi11Ain's live sets are always expressive and exremely hands on.
