I've had a nice year long break from hosting writer's nights four nights a week. I've been asked on a bi-weekly basis from this or that fellow singer/songwriter, "Will you PLEASE start hosting again?" While I DEEPLY appreciated all of you who have said that to me, I just needed some time. After performing 232 shows in 2013, recording a full-length album and being on tour for 3 months, I needed some me time. Then January of this year, I started a business, which on top of that I'm still touring/performing/recording regularly, plus co-hosting two Internet TV shows, and doing a little motivational speaking here and there. But, thanks to Patrick Raines, my dear friend, and the beautiful new hot spot bar Whiskey Rhythmsaloon in mid-town, I am going to be running a monthly BLUE writer's night.

What does a "blue writer's night" mean, exactly?

We'll be doing "Alyssa Jacey" blue-shot specials. Ask for the "Alyssa Jacey shot." 1$ from your shot will be donated to Alzheimer's, which is the charity I fight for and donate to, monthly. WEAR BLUE to support!
