Grammy nominee Shawn Mullin's met Indigo Girls' Amy Ray in high school, who became his friend and mentor. He then graduated from Dahlonega's No. Ga. College, served in the Army Reserves, and in 1998 released 'Soul's Core', including his most famous song, "Lullaby". The song charted #1 to #9 in the U.S. as well as the U.K., Canada, & Australia, where Shawn's song "Shimmer", was used to advertise the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, as well as on the Dawson Creek TV show, and is still considered the unofficial anthem of the Sydney games. In '06 Mullins released '9th Ward Pickin Parlor' with the single "Beautiful Wreck" which reached #1 on the U.S. Americana charts. He's released two awesome albums since & we are honored to have him back at 'The Moon' where those who are lucky enough to get tickets will be one of 94 folks watching his show on our intimate 9'x 10' stage!
