Harper and Midwest Kind
Grass Lake, MI
Sunday, February 9th, 2014 at 6:00pm
On Sunday, Feb. 9, its Didgeriblues when Blind Pig recording artist and Australian blues, soul and world music master Harper & Midwest Kind returns to Tallahassee's outback for an evening of unique blues and world music. Harper's music reflects the earthy, worldly influences from Down Under. He is a singer and songwriter, plays a mean blues harp and incorporates the Aboriginal Didgeridoo into his shows. His music is an eclectic mix of blues, soul, rock, funk and world roots vibes. Harper's vocals are powerful, passionate and gritty. His harp playing is electric from fast and furious to slow and moving. Harper's stage setting-- colorful sights and aromatic fragrances-- creates the vibe for a entertaining show. Really good stuff.
