With records out on Armin Van Buuren’s Armada, Paul Van Dyk’s Vandit and U.S. mega-label Ultra, while holding a coveted residency with West Coast power-house promoter Giant at Avalon Hollywood, it’s easy to see why Kristina Sky is one of America’s brightest rising stars. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she’s been DJing to thousands of enthusiastic clubbers since 2002, coast-to-coast in the U.S. and around the world—from China to the Philippines, Ecuador to Guatemala and Canada to Costa Rica. Handpicked to play Armin’s ASOT550 in the Netherlands, Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival and North America’s biggest music festival, Coachella—sharing the stage with legendary acts like Madonna and Daft Punk—Kristina is undoubtedly one of America’s most beloved EDM ambassadors. Her live set recordings, guest mixes and popular radio show, TRANCELATE, generate tremendous support from her ever-growing fanbase—broadcasting worldwide via satellite, FM and the internet. It’s really no wonder that Kristina’s uber-dedicated fans voted her #39 in America's Best DJ Poll 2013 and have kept her in the top ranks of the highly regarded Tranceaddict Top 250 DJ Poll for six consecutive years (#74 in 2012)! Her DJ sets are unforgettable and energetic journeys through the best of dance music and her production sound ranges from warm and groovy progressive-house to emotional, melodic and uplifting trance. Playing alongside many of the world’s top DJs, while also gaining their support on her tracks, it’s only natural that she's made quite a name for herself in the global dance scene. If you haven’t had a chance to experience one of Kristina’s live sets yet, anyone who has will tell you that you’re missing out. Her passion and love for the music is undeniable and her ultimate goal is clear—to move you on that dancefloor and leave you with a memorable soundtrack to the night! Some of the artists KSky has shared the stage with: Madonna, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, BT, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Sander van Doorn, ATB, Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, Marcus Schossow, Gareth Emery, Andy Moor, Blank & Jones, Menno de Jong, Solarstone, Max Graham, Dash Berlin, Cosmic Gate, Tritonal, Jochen Miller, Thomas Bronzwaer, Johan Gielen, Richard Durand, Kyau & Albert, 4 Strings, Ronski Speed, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Mark Norman, Motorcycle, Rank-1, Morgan Page, Dave Dresden, Filo & Peri, Roger Shah, Bobina, Judge Jules, Glenn Morrison, Darude, Christopher Lawrence, John 00’ Fleming, Stoneface & Terminal, Aly & Fila, Infected Mushroom, The Thrillseekers, Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson, Alex M.O.R.P.H., David West, Soha, Bissen, UMEK, 7Skies, JES, Audrey Gallagher, Jan Johnston, Betsie Larkin, Lisa Lashes, Emma Hewitt, Nu-Nrg, Second Sun, Ian Van Dahl, Lange, Leon Bolier, Phynn, Hydroid, Andy Caldwell, Ben Gold, Kenneth Thomas, Blake Jarrell, Daniel Wanrooy, Austin Leeds, Lasgo, Talla 2XLC, DJ Sammy, Shawn Mitiska, Matt Cerf, Jaren, Doc Martin, DJ Irene, D:fuse, Micro, Caffeine, Donald Glaude, Taylor, Peter Hook (New Order)

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Nilan aka “Speakerfoxxx” is a nationally-respected DJ, and globally-emerging brand to match. In just four years the self-taught DJ has built a resume that includes a wide spectrum of residencies from the swanky W Hotel to the smoky underground Hip Hop Atlanta hideout El Bar to a secured residency on NYC's East Village Radio's show "Ballers Eve." Speakerfoxxx boasts a diverse musical upbringing that saw her singing the church choir and playing in the school band. She learned to play both piano and ukulele by age five and began playing guitar at age 12. In middle school she played in the jazz band and in high she played in a number of punk rock bands she formed herself. “I was always a fast learner as a kid,” she admits. “I don’t like not being good at something, so I put my all into learning something when I try it. So that works to my advantage.” As a teen and early 20-something, Speakerfoxxx fell deep into the party and live music scene like most people her age. But eventually, she grew fonder of the DJs controlling the crowd than the artists and the drinks. So in 2005 she began spending all of her spare time collecting records and saving money to purchase her first pair of turntables. From there spent hours on end practicing the craft and landed her first gig at a local pool hall within months. Her unique ear for music, skills and demand for female DJs at the time opened doors to more gigs almost immediately as she began spinning at Atlanta hotspots where patrons included the city’s cutting edge artists, creatives and innovators. Which makes sense seeing as how beyond DJing, Speakerfoxxx is also a skilled visual artist and former tattoo apprentice who was accepted into the Savannah School of Art and Design in 11th grade and was offered scholarships from New York City’s top art schools including Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design and the School of Visual Arts. She however landed in Decatur, Georgia’s all women’s school Agnes Scott College where she majored in Fine Arts and Africana Studies with a Spanish minor. After traveling around the country as an official tour DJ for the likes of Yelawolf, Rittz and Three 6 Mafia's Gangsta Boo, Speakerfoxxx is now adding festival DJ to her resume having played parties and sets at Miami’s Art Basel, South By Southwest, A3C Hip Hop Festival and TomorrowWorld. Her ability to explore different musical genres has also landed her gigs for corporate brands like Porsche and Microsoft, private parties for celebrities like Justin Bieber and Atlanta’s HIGH Museum of Art. “I always try to pay homage to the music that came out before,” she says. “It’s real important to me to not just go up there and play the Top 40 songs. I want to link the history of music together.” Speakerfoxxx is also making efforts to link her love of music with her love for fashion. The professional hairdresser and fashion curator made history in 2013 when she collaborated with fashion designers Dee & Ricky for a first-of-its-kind music and fashion mixtape. Her creative ambitions also include a series of art and photography books she plans to release in 2014. “When you are a true artist, the medium may change, but it doesn’t matter what you do, you’ll always be an artist,” she says. “I’m DJing, living fashion and doing hair. I think they work hand in hand with each other.” Whether it’s a record, paintbrush or pair of shears, whatever Speakerfoxxx’s gold-ringed hands have touched have turned into just that...gold.

Featuring the World Exclusive One Time Only set from the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Moving Shadow himself. The Timecode, The one and only:
Moving Shadow, 2 Bad Mice, Kaotic Chemistry, Metalheads, https://twitter.com/timecode // United Kingdom
Rob Playford has been referred to as "the busiest man in jungle," and has probably had his hands in more aspects of the business, art, and culture of hardcore and drum'n'bass than any other single person. A DJ, recording artist (2Bad Mice, Kaotic Chemistry, Metalheads), label owner (Moving Shadow), and ultra-visible dance music proponent, Playford, like Goldie, Grooverider, and DJ Hype, has been a staple on the hardcore scene since it traded its helium-shrill vocal samples and rave whistles for chopped-up breaks and thunderous basslines in the early part of the '90s. An important catalyst of jungle's post-rave growth spurt, Playford's 2Bad Mice project helped push breakbeat beyond its rave trappings, and, with Moving Shadow as his engine, has played a crucial role in supporting jungle's growth as an autonomous art form. A native of Hertfordshire (just north of London), Playford DJed house and techno through the late-'80s height of the acid house movement, following the music into its harder element at decade's turn. He self-released his own track, "Orbital Madness," and became a touch point for young artists and bedroom producers seeking advice on how to break into the scene. Rather than continuing to funnel talent to other labels, however, Playford formed Moving Shadow in 1990 (assisted by a "how-to" book on running a small business), both to release his own material and those of up-and-coming hardcore artists such as Blame, Mixrace, Flytronix, Danny Breaks (as Hyper On Experience), and Earth Leakage Trip. Initially selling records out of the trunk of his car, the steady growth of the hardcore and jungle scenes, as well as the consistent quality of the music finding its way to Moving Shadow, meant the label quickly became a full-time commitment. Moving Shadow's early catalog was dominated by Playford-related projects, including 2Bad Mice, the influential trio Playford formed in 1991 with Sean O'Keefe and Simon Colebrooke. They released a number of club hits through the early '90s (including "Waremouse"), and are widely credited with releasing the first serious glimpse of drum'n'bass in 1992's massive "Bombscare." One of Moving Shadow's first chart successes, "Bombscare" charted in both the U.K. (number 43) and the U.S. (number 23) and has sold through a number of pressings, reissues, and remixes. Playford's other main musical venture -- Metalheads (the artist, not the label), together with Goldie -- have released a number of singles, including the massive hit "Inner City Life," arguably one of the most crucial moments in jungle's crossover to widespread acceptance. The pair also worked together on Moving Shadow's much-hyped 100th release, titled simply "The Shadow" and billed to Playford, Goldie, and Dominic Angus (of MS's Dom & Roland). The Metalheads tag has also been attached to a number of remixes, including post-Happy Mondays group Black Grape and the soundtrack for Mission: Impossible. Playford also engineered on Goldie's full-length debut, Timeless. Moving Shadow's incessant drum'n'bass P.R. extended in the mid-'90s to a series of regional compilations (including Storm from the East and Transcentral Connection), and the label has increasingly pushed the full-length format, with albums by Omni Trio, Foul Play, and E-Z Rollers all appearing. The label's stable has also grown to one of the most solid and acclaimed on the current scene, with new-crop artists such as Ed Rush, Dom & Roland, and Technical Itch all signing on. A reissue label, Re-Animate, was established in 1996, and Moving Shadow's publishing arm has handled licensing for such popular U.K. TV shows as Eastenders and Father Ted. In addition to the success of his label and recording projects, Playford was also the recipient of a special award for outstanding industry contributions at the 1996 U.K. hardcore awards. Since his days as a jungle pioneer you can find Rob behind the mixing desks engineering the soundtracks for blockbuster movies such as: Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Paul, and Hot Fuzz! You may also know Mr. Playford as Timecode from the MSX FM Radio Station on the Multi-Platinum Selling Video Game: Grand Theft Auto 3!

Digital Konfusion, Konkrete Jungle, mixcloud.com/djodi
Bronx-born Carlos “Odi” Castillo is not only one of the most highly-respected DJs in the stateside jungle scene, but in great part responsible for its stylistic evolution in NYC. He got his big break after high school, when promoting for the famous mid-90’s NASA rave parties grew into a steady DJing slot. Back then, the 90’s electronica wave was called “breaks” or “techno,” until Odi and some childhood friends who shared a lifestyle, culture and musical interest began pumping out electronic records with their own signature twist. Having grown up on 125th street in Harlem, Odi began to introduce the hip hop elements that helped create and push the jungle sound. It has been the defining style of NYC and the east coast in general since 1997, when the Digital Konfusion crew formed their own eponymous record label and began spinning at NYC’s most dedicated weekly jungle party: Konkrete Jungle. Eventually Odi caught the ears of TC IZLAM, the international spokesman for the respected Hip Hop society Zulu Nation. He was initiated in 2003, making him the first junglist to enter the organization. Odi and his record label have remained prolific ever since, DJing across the nation and producing for multiple other artists. Odi’s home base is now in North Carolina where he owns and runs a recording studio.
