Baton Rouge's premier musical export Tab Benoit combines swamp, soul and Chicago blues. While maintaining a commitment to his Cajun roots, Tab released over a dozen albums, has three Grammy nods and has won a pair of Blues Music Awards. He's also an environmental activist who crusades for the preservation of the endangered delta wetlands known as “Voice of the Wetlands;” it earned Benoit the Governor’s Award for Conservationist of the Year from the Louisiana Wildlife Federation.
Opening is subdudes founder and frontman Tommy Malone. In addition to a critically acclaimed solo career, Tommy was associated with Tiny Town and Continental Drifters plus his songs were recorded by Tab Benoit, Joe Cocker and The Radiators (featuring his brother Dave Malone). Familiar subdudes favorites include “Late at Night,” “Need Somebody” and “All the Time in the World."
