TWIN GUNS (Set time: 10:30PM)
Noir for NOW people! Taking garage punk down some of its shadier alleyways, TWIN GUNS have carved out a sonically spookified niche within the underground music scene. Featuring Andrea Sicco (Oscura / Rockethouse) and “Jungle” Jim Chandler (The Cramps / The Makers), this duo drench their growing audience in reverb, fuzz and an overdose
of volume while mixing equal parts Jesus & Mary Chain, Suicide, Ennio Morricone and the New York “No Wave” scene into a sinister slurry all their own.
THE LIVING KILLS
Enjoy the howl of creeping organ, tons of noise and a great mix of ’60s guitar nostalgia and modern shoe-gazer-y-ness as THE LIVING KILLS create a buzzing, clamoring wreck of a noise with sweetly straightforward melodies soaring overhead. The Living Kills is music to make out to on the L train.
Yancy, Eric and Justin and are the most rockin' power trio since Moe, Larry and Curly. Not easily influenced, their lives have none the less been ruined by the likes of Roy Orbison, Howlin' Wolf, The Cramps, The Gun Club, Pussy Galore, 16 Horsepower, Clockcleaner, Scratch Acid and Flesheates.
Blending a new romantic sound with a post-punk edge, AUTO BONFIRE is a New York City-based post-punk/new wave band formed by Esther Crow (of The Electric Mess and DEVA), Derek Davidson (of The Electric Mess) and Sparkie Sandler (of dude with the adorable name). Inspired by bands from the late 70's and early 80’s, Auto Bonfire blends a new romantic sound with a post-punk edge. This is the modern world!
SHIKSA are a dirty Brooklyn style new wave/punk/blues band and love anything with kick ass vocals and chants!!
