Annie in the Water is a high-energy, acoustic-jam group that has developed a very unique sound, blending blues, hip-hop, rock and bluegrass. The two original members, Brad Hester and Michael Lashomb have been writing, recording, filming and producing all of their own original music and videos for the past five years. Matthew Davis was the musician who performed drums on the group's debut album "Destination" -released in June 2011- and is now an official member of the band.
Not only do they pride themselves on their unique song-writing with meaningful lyrics and composition, but they also have a dynamic ability to re-create cover songs into their own sharp acoustic style. Some of their biggest inspirations include Dispatch, Disco Biscuits, Talking Heads, Sublime and Dave Matthews band.
