Tickets will be available online at cabooze.com and in person at Red's Savoy Uptown and the Electric Fetus.
Friday, October 4th will be More Than Lights first show in Minneapolis since their Sights and Sounds album release party weekend at The Cabooze almost exactly a year previous to the upcoming concert (Oct. 5th & 6th, 2012). This will also be More Than Lights first show in Minneapolis without Big Zach Combs in the group.
As many of you already know, Big Zach left More Than Lights last year. One of the reasons for leaving was to fully pursue finishing his first fictional novel, When Bees Enslave Ants, which was just released May 24th, 2013. You can purchase his new book along with his first book, Headshots, Headspin, and History: Growing Up in Twin Cities Hip Hop, at the Electric Fetus, Boneshaker Books, Present Moment, or online at zachcombs.net. Even though Zach is no longer performing with More Than Lights, he will be the master of ceremonies for the evening.
Natalie Fine and Unicus have been working on some new tracks all year and are excited to share!
More Than Lights is very excited to be sharing the stage with two of their favorite music groups coming out of the Twin Cities, Crunchy Kids and Up Rock. You'll wanna arrive early, neither of these groups are to be missed.
Crunchy Kids just released earlier this summer their first album, Mint, on May 12th, 2013. If you haven't already heard their fantastic new album, check out their music video for the single "Nash Money""Nash Money".
Up Rock, two of Minneapolis' legendary Abstract Pack, is crazy out of control right now with the new stuff they're doing. Their new EP, Let That Bass Shake, is neck breaking! Check out their music video for "Let That Bass Shake".
Last but not least, DJ Gabe Garcia is gonna be rocking the turntables all night. You can catch DJ Gabe Garcia spinning at Minneapolis' rap dance party, Turnt Up! Check out some video!
