South 46 Band is southern blues & rock at its best. The Band takes great pride in performing the music of The Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top and others to keep classic southern rock alive and well. The year 2013 brings more blues and three new members to South 46: David Sierra (bass), Dave Price (drums), and Jeff Niemann (guitar) mixing it up with Band members, Steve Hancock (vocals), Dave Bailey (keyboards), Doc Ferreira (guitar) and Gary Harang (percussion). If you liked South 46 before, you will love the new sound that keeps the authentic rich, soulful quality of the Allman Brothers Band, the best of Steve Ray Vaughn, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top to name a few as well as an expanded playlist of more blues.
Ian Moore shares the same record label, Capricorn Records, as the Allman Brothers. In addition to being a band leader, he has played with Joe Ely and Jason Mraz . He has played arenas opening for the Rolling Stones and ZZ Top, and with Bob Dylan, singing encores right along side Bob. He appeared in Billy Bob Thorton's Movie Sling Blade . His music contains elements of folk, rock and roll, world music and blues.
