PARKING IN ALL MARINA LOTS SOUTH OF THE DOUBLETREE HOTEL IS $15 PER VEHICLE. THERE IS NO FREE PARKING IN THE SOUTHSHORE OF THE MARINA except for vehicles with a blue placard. Vehicles are allowed into and out of the marina until approximately 6:30PM when all the roads are closed to vehicles. When the fireworks are over and all of the pedestrians have walked out, the police open the roads to vehicles (around 10:30PM) when you may drive out. Between 6:30PM and 10:30PM you may not move your vehicle.
FREE ACCESSIBLE PARKING is set up for the 4th of July in J Lot which is on the south side of the marina, the second driveway on your right just before Hana Restaurant. It is monitored and tends to fill up quickly, however, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ride your bike over the Berkeley Pedestrian Bridge and onto the newly-paved portion of the East Bay Trail that will take you right into the Festival. FREE VALET BIKE PARKING by Richmond Spokes 12 Noon to 10PM near Adventure Playground.
AC Transit #51B runs into and out of the Marina until 6:30PM. There is no bus service after that time from the Marina. Walk out of the Marina to 6th and University to catch the #51B after 6:30PM until Midnight.
