As of press time, the bandstand consists of Bovina-bred and Albany-based, THE COLLEGE FARM; New York City’s, THE BUCK UPS; returning rockers from Louisiana, DASH RIP ROCK; Livestock! founder’s band ESQUELA; his brother Danny’s band, DISCIPLES OF AGRICULTURE; Brooklyn, New York’s LUBA DVORAK AND THE BANNED; and alt-country force, MARK MCKAY. Check back on our site for changes in the line-up. We will see you at the summer’s end.
This year we are dispensing of the Dixie cups. No more plastic for us. Please bring your own drinking vessel, so we avoid the landfill contribution. For those who comply, it’s a mere $20 to gain entrance. If you forget to bring your own cup/mug/thermos/chalice, the price goes up to $25, and you go home with a souvenir Livestock reusable mug.
**Grab your campsite early on, and park in the hayfield. The music begins at 2pm in the amphitheater and runs until 5pm. As you leave the amphitheater, duck under the tents where Nathan Carter’s Leshikar’s barbeque has been slow-cooked for your enjoyment. Pulled pork on toasted rolls, coleslaw, baked beans and pickles are the stars here. Unburden the dessert table by choosing one of the guests’ sweet homemade contributions. Music is back on the menu at 6pm when bands begin tuning up in the barn — and the music continues until it runs out.
