Our Statue of Liberty is suppose to welcome all people equally. Now it's our time to realize it.
Weird, wild, and fun loving Peace Fest Family has been going hard and bringing the party since 1985, and now… we’re ready to rock again! May 4th PEACE FEST MAY DAY will be more outrageous than you’ve ever seen. Not only are we bringing out all the local musicians who you know and love, we will also be booking headlining acts guaranteed to make you groove. And with two stages of sound BOTH INSTRUMENTAL AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC WILL BE REPRESENTED so no excuses; flowing, shaking, poppen, and spinning it will be all too easy .
Great music is not enough though. No we intend to stimulate all your senses by reaching out and inviting performers from among our own community to share their talents with us. So far we have fire performances from the Gypsy Circus Tribe, high flying aerial trapeze acts from Meghan sane, and full movie screen graphics by Mark Goles. Watch our wall as we will continue to invite and book gogo girls, LED hoopers, burlesque and so much funkin more! Feel free to message us if you’d like to volunteer/participate and we will do our best to accommodate you.
PEACE FEST MAY DAY! is the place for all to come and participate in the Peace, Love, Music, and Arts. Because music is not just herd, it's performed with a full stage.
The Portage is on Milwaukee & Cuyler. 1 block west on Cuyler is a huge meter parking lot. ( if you can't find parking on Milwaukee). But Sears has a deal with the Portage to let people park for FREE on Cicero just 2 blocks away! So you won't have to feed the meter if you stay all day.
Bus stop is right on front of theater on Milwaukee. Or 1 block Southeast is 6 corners Irving, Milwaukee, & Cicero.
PLEASE Invite all your friends to this page, leave no one behind. No one will want to miss PEACE FEST May DAY! at the coolest Theater there is before the Congress takes it over!
Sorry, 17 and over $15
