The Advocate Project invites you to help them unleash their new EP ASYLUM at Main Street Live (upstairs)!
The Nashville, Tennessee based, The Advocate Project is quickly gaining recognition as a stand out new act. Rodrigo Sebastian (guitars/vocals) had been working on music over the past several years. After having 8 songs finished, He met Eric Woodrow (bass/vocals) at his day job and they started talking music. Realizing they had the same passion for writing and performing, they started jamming together and bringing the music to life.
Then just a few months later, Bradley Hairston (drums) was introduced and really liked the music and passion within the project. After having extensive tryouts for a vocalist, they finally found their missing piece to the musical puzzle. Thru a mutual friend, they met Leidon (vocals). Coming from a dark, melodic, and industrial background she was the perfect fit or the band and so the line-up was sealed. The band's sound is said to be "very unique", with influences being pulled from bands like Sevendust, Disturbed, Lacuna Coil, Karnivool, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Marilyn Manson, RED, Periphery, and many others. The sound is heavy with a lot of melodies, "Dark and melodic is a huge factor of the band's sound", says Rodrigo. The band's live show is equally commanding and noteworthy.
The band is honing their craft on select regional dates and preparing for the release of their brand new EP ASYLUM due April 30th, 2013. The band is celebrating their recent partnership with The Inner Light Agency for artist development and representation. Catch them live and see what others already know!!
