Formed in early 2008, Short in the Sleeve are carving a niche in the Memphis scene with their unique brand of engaging, literate folk-pop. The trio is comprised of singer/guitarist Jason Middlekauff, bassist Kyle Reed, and drummer Kevin Jenkins. Having played local venues for over a year, the band recorded their demo EP, Field Day, at Young Avenue Sound on a snowy day in early March last year. Otherlands Show and New Videos

We had a great time at Otherlands last night. The crowd was fantastic and it was a pleasure to play with Watchpaper and Kris Acklen. They're talented folks.
