Q: Shok, tell us more about " Hangin' on by a Thread". Explain the lyrics.
A: Hangin' on by a Thread is about one coming to terms with conviction. Many people have this idea of a mental battle going on inside their head. The angel side of you on one side telling you one thing and the devil side of you on the other side telling you something different. Then trying to decide what to do about dealing with the consequences. I think many people can relate to this. Perhaps someone is mad at someone or you're being accused, maybe you failed at something. In some of my songwriting. I like to deal with humanity and conscience. Why do songs always got to be about a relationships or cause and effect? So, I thought I try something different. Some people write songs to try to make sense of things. Some people write songs on purpose not to make sense at all. I like to leave songs with a sense of enigma. This way the listener philosophies with it, finds their philanthropy. I like songs that make you think. That is what I was trying to do here. :)
