Shayne's own compositions, as well as his interpretations of classic traditional country and folk tunes, were influenced by artists such as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and The Band. His musical voyage is one that began with the guitar teachings of his uncle, artist Leslie Potter, and continues to evolve. His love for people, music and life has carried him all around the world through many different lands and cultures.
