Shannon Pelcher With nods to Tin Pan Alley, 1960s folk and experimental acoustic, Shannon Pelcher has one foot dipped in the jazz world and the other planted in singer/songwriter storytelling traditions. Her dreamlike lyrics and lilting vocals are backed by elegantly deft guitar playing, and her sound is both vintage and contemporary, influenced as much by John Coltrane as it is by PJ Harvey. Will Hanza & Timothy Dark Blending elements of classic rock, world, alien, zydeco, gypsy, alternative and modern music, as well as a constant search for the profound. www.timothydark.tv Dani Mari An avid fan of Billie Holiday and Mazzy Star, Dani Mari was born to sing. Her music is fueled by personal narratives embedded in the craft of classic story telling and the emotional insight of a most unlikely “old soul”. Audiences across the United States and throughout Europe have gravitated toward her beautifully haunting voice and the simplistic elegance of her lyrics which transcend our current snap shot of popular music. Dani Mari is set to release a wider body of work with boutique art label, Someplace Called Brooklyn. With nothing more than an acoustic guitar and stories of her life experience, the release of “Broken Palace” merely hints at Dani Mari’s desire to transport listeners the world over to an era of nostalgia which exists within the depths of her soul. Zachary Huckel-Bauer Born 20 months prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall, Zach was raised in the picturesque harbor town of Blue Hill, on the northern coast of Maine. When he was 10 he picked up a trumpet and learned the blues. When he was 13 he picked up a guitar and learned angst. When he was 17 he started to learn how to edit and he continues to attempt to fashion himself into a coherent representation of the contemporary artist at war with himself and the world around him. He's basically negotiated a cease-fire with all parties except for conservative ideologues, who he happily shoots on Sunday afternoons from the comfort of his home in Brooklyn, NY. Jesse Merandy Jesse has been called the Jack Johnson of the mountains, channelling inspiration from reggae, soul, funk, blues and rock. You can find him honing his craft at NYC yoga studios where he provides the live playlist or performing with his band the Breakneck Boys in the Hudson Valley. Seth Morgan Born in Indiana, raised in Philadelphia, and living in New York City, Seth's music is just like his background: Varied, but with deep roots. He takes blues, rock n' roll, folk, punk, and jazz and stirs them into songs that are just as comfortable in a noisy bar as they are on a front porch swing.
